Kuidou Bowl Project

The project is a hybrid of ethnographic research, 3D animation, documentary, and legends. The Kuidou Bowl I found in my hometown (Chaoshan, Guangdong Province, China), is a thread that connects the region’s traditional value system, the diasporic families stories, and the local history of food shortages over centuries.
